Data Deletion

From Panel → Settings you can delete your account. Disconnecting only is a separate step:

• Disconnect: there is no separate disconnect button in the panel. You can remove VoltraChat's access under the apps and websites permissions in your Instagram settings, or email destek@voltrachat.com and, after we verify your identity, ask us to remove the connection. The access token is revoked and no new data is processed; disconnecting alone does not delete historical records.
• Delete account: with a two-step confirmation you request deletion of your account and all your data. Your account details, access tokens, interaction events, and delivery records are deleted within 30 days.

When you remove VoltraChat's access in your Instagram or Meta account settings and ask for your data to be deleted, Meta sends us a Data Deletion request. Removing access alone (without asking for deletion) does not create a deletion request. We process it automatically and return a confirmation code together with a link where you can check the status of your request at any time.

Requests coming through Meta's Data Deletion callback can be checked with the confirmation code you receive.

• Deleted: your account details (email, name), the Instagram connection and encrypted access tokens, comment/message interaction events, your conversations and message history, delivery records, your automation rules, your publishing records (captions, media IDs, permalinks), the insights cache, and any upload files not yet deleted.
• A Meta Data Deletion request (Path 2) deletes only the data tied to your Instagram account; for your email/name and activity records, delete your account from Panel → Settings (Path 1).
• Not deleted: posts you have published on Instagram. They stay on your Instagram account; VoltraChat has no ability to delete a post on Instagram. You can delete them in the Instagram app.
• Retained under legal obligation: invoices and financial records are kept for the mandatory periods under tax and commercial law and destroyed afterwards. Only this part of a deletion request is deferred, with the legal basis documented.
